The autumn has found us.

It has found us all three in different countries; Emma in Helsinki, Vanessa in London and Pinja in Kyoto.

Naturally when you find yourself far from your friends, you might start to miss them. That happened to us as well. So our new project is about trying to keep in touch with each other regardless of the miles, timezones or different interests. Maybe there could be a possibility for intimacy through distance via photography.

So, what do we do, then? We ask each other a question once in a week. The questions can be about whatever we would like to know about what´s going on in the other´s life. And the other person who´s been asked the question, must reply to it with an image. We post the images then to this blog for our pleasure and yours. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we do, where ever you might be.

Toiset Toiset Kengät/ Another Pair of Other Shoes

Kettu 2000-kollektiivin installaatio nähtiin helmikuussa galleria Jangvassa. Materiaalia Toiset Kengät-installaatiosta on nyt huhtikuun ajan, 7.4.-3.5., esillä Kamera-gallerialla Kampissa. Esillä on muun muassa valokuvia, osia päiväkirjoista ja videon lopun puheenvuorot.

Emma on tavattavissa gallerialla, osoitteessa Lastenkodinkuja 1, lauantaina 10.4. klo 11-14.

The collective Kettu 2000's installation was exhibited at Gallery Jangva in February. From 7.4. until 3.5. material from Other Shoes -installation is on display at Kamera-gallery in Kamppi, Helsinki. Among other things photographs, excerpts from the diaries, and the end statements of the videos are being shown there.

There's also a chance to meet one of the artists Emma at the gallery (Lastenkodinkuja 1) on Saturday 10th from 11-2.
